Market Square

We had such a fun Friday a couple weeks ago playing and eating at Chikfila and going to Market Square that night. I have a funny story about Jack's cousin Annelise from that day. I was holding Jack and as he was biting my arm, I lightly spanked his bottom and told him to stop thinking nothing of it. Right after, Annelise slaps Jack across the face. I about died. It was so loud and hard I was waiting for him to scream bloody murder especially after my sister said I didn't want to see his face. He didn't cry one bit. Her hand print was imprinted on the side of his face and I still wonder to this day why he didn't make a sound. I know I would have. I wasn't too happy with Annelise but she was just watching me thinking she was doing something good by hitting Jack because he was hurting me. It just shows how early kids pick up on things. Lesson learned for me!

We headed to Market Square that night for dinner and to walk around with my sister Ra and her family. We went to Mass General Store, listened to a band play and ate gelato. Jack had his first taste of mango gelato and loved it! The weather was perfect and we had a great time!

Montgomery Day 3

Oh Jack...the pictures of Reese and Braylan bullying you crack me up! You are so cute even when you are crying. You just didn't want to be bothered that day and poor Tybee didn't realize he scared you so much. Maybe we will get you a dog someday...when mommy isn't scared of dogs anymore.:) You had a blast though riding in the wagon and playing with Braylan in her crib.

Montgomery Day 2

We started the morning off with breakfast at Mimi's then to the craft store for our art project. That afternoon we decided to have a photo session with the kids....wow what an experience! Looking back, I crack up thinking about getting the kids naked and us crazy moms snapping away! Later that night I had the pleasure of watching Jack and Reese while Kelli, Heather and Braylan went out to get dinner. Guess I always wanted to see how it was like having twins!:)

Montgomery and Friends!

Jack was beginning to get really clingy the week before we headed to Montgomery so I was excited for him to play with his friends. I was also afraid he was getting sick again because he had watery eyes and would sneeze alot. It turned out to be just allergies. And his clingyness was because he cut some upper teeth. How bad did I and STILL do feel about his clingyness! I couldn't do anything without him on my hip and I thought it was the start of how he was going to be. He was back to his normal self when we got back and I realized so what if he is clingy? I just need to chill and love every minute of it because when he gets older I'm going to wish he wanted me to hold him! Aside from him not being his usual self, we had a blast. I got to hangout with my girlfriends and the kids got to play with each other! I can't wait to do it again!

Update!

Gosh, I can't believe it's been over a month since I last posted. I am so sorry! Where has the time gone?? I have so many pictures to post and Jack is growing up so fast! Since I last blogged, Jack had turned 8 months and now he is 9 months! We had his 9 month checkup yesterday and I will write about it on a later post. In the last month, we traveled to Montgomery with Kelli and Reese to see Heather and Braylan, met his cousins from San Diego who now live here, had his first Easter, started going to Bookworms at the library, and played outside whenever it wasn't raining!

He is mobile and so quick! At first I felt like whenever I wasn't looking he'd be across the room. I wasn't sure how he got there but he was moving somehow. That was a month ago. Now he is all over the place and there is no stopping him! He has such a funny crawl-he crawls on all fours. He pulls up on everything and can stand on his own for a couple of seconds! He also has four new top teeth and is chewing on everything! His new chew toy is anything wood! He has chewed not only his crib but his cousin Annelise's crib and our wood tray on our coffee table. We've lowered his crib and have to lower it again because he tries to literally climb out of it. He is all over the place and I now sweat throughout the day from chasing him! He is such a stinker and so much fun! He loves to clap his hands and wave bye. He is vocal more than ever saying dadada and daddy clearly and says momama and wahwah for water and tries so hard to repeat whatever we are saying! Yesterday at the grocery store it sounded like he was saying "hey mum!" It was too cute! I will post pictures from what we were into in the last month.

A New Buddy!

Jack got to play with Reese and his new buddy Case yesterday. He also enjoyed playing with Case's big brother Reid too! What a fun day we had! Thanks Ashlea for letting us come over-we had so much fun! We definitely need to do it again!
