We took Jack to Boo at the Zoo Friday night. It was pretty chilly so we thought his skunk costume would be perfect. It is also fitting because he literally is our "little stinker", a name that we've given him due to his never ending diaper changes! And we think he's pretty stinkin cute! He fell asleep right when we got in and I thought he was going to miss the whole thing. He finally woke up and got to play with his cousins and go through the candy line while his daddy held him. He also posed for pictures that strangers wanted to take of him. A little weird but we didn't mind. I guess they thought he was stinkin cute too! :)

Arrgh!
Jack went to his first Halloween party Saturday night. He was a pirate and Tait and I were football players. I think we just looked like really big Colt's fans! I guess that is what you get with last minute planning! We had a great time eating, sitting by the bon fire and hanging out with family and friends!

Hoosier Baby?
We took another trip to Indiana this past weekend. We went up for Aunt Rachel's baby shower and down to Bloomington for IU's homecoming game. This was Jack's first tailgate and first time meeting daddy's friends. Jack was all decked out in Hoosier gear complete with cream and crimson leggings! We got there at 8:30 in the morning and left around 3 in the afternoon! Jack was such a trooper! He seemed to be having fun - watching his daddy and friends play cornhole and being held by Christie. Thanks Christie! He took small cat naps throughout the day instead of his usual long nap. Guess he didn't want to miss out on anything! We had such a great time and was so glad we were able to catch up with friends and have Jack be a part of it.
After tailgating we went to Tait's cousin Blake's house for a fish fry. It was Jack's first time meeting a lot of his daddy's family. Then on Sunday we had a shower for his soon-to-be cousin Dane who will make his arrival in December. Jack got to see all of his cousins in Indy before heading back home. Another fun filled weekend!

Another Play Date!
Jack had another playdate on Tuesday with his friends Braylan, Leighton and Baby Reese! There was a lot going on and he just mainly watched Braylan and Leighton play with one another and Reese sleep. It was an adventure getting a picture of him and all his friends but I managed to get a shot. I love how they are all looking at different directions! I guess that's what you get when you have four crazy moms snapping away! I look forward to him growing up with his buddies and future play dates!

Two Month Check Up!
After his appt we went to my friend Brooke's house for a play date with her daughter Leighton and Heather and her daughter Braylan. Jack was actually held by everyone but he enjoyed watching while his friends played! The moms enjoyed hanging out and are doing it again tomorrow. We have a play date with Baby Reese and his mom Kelli. Jack will be happy to have another boy to hang out with! I will definitely post pictures of the event!

Just Me and Mommy!
Jack turned 10 weeks old yesterday and I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I am dedicating this post to Jack and I.
I want to thank him for being such a precious little boy and let him know he's the absolute joy of my life. I have been an aunt to so many nieces and nephews and knew I always wanted to be a mom but didn't realize just how rewarding it is. I have enjoyed every minute of being Jack's mom and our time together. I can't believe how much joy he has given me and there is not a day that goes by that I don't thank God for him. I am so blessed. I look forward to watching him grow and our future together.
He has changed so much these past couple of weeks and he continues to amaze me each day with his growing personality. I love his smile, laughter and facial expressions. He continues to coo and tries his hardest to copy what I do which is fun to watch! The best part is when he looks at me and knows I'm his mom. He knows that I can feed him when he's hungry and soothe him when he's upset. I can pick him up and hold him and he's so content. It doesn't get much better than that! And to me....that is priceless.
It's Bumbo Time!!!!

Greek Fest 2010!!!!
We took Jack to his first Greek Fest Friday night. We thought it would be a good idea for him to embrace his Greek roots. Just kidding. We went for the gyros, balklava sundae, music and fun! It was such a nice evening out. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed spending time with my mom, sister, brother-in-law and their kids. Jack's cousin Annelise loves playing with him and feeding him - she tried to feed him a carrot the other day. Rest assured her pizza didn't go anywhere near his mouth that night! Jack enjoyed the loud music and festivities but we pushed him too far and he let us know when we were out past his bedtime.
Nice to Meet You Buddy!
Baby Reese arrived on Wednesday night and we went to the hospital Thursday to see him and his mommy and daddy. We have been waiting a long time for him to arrive and for Jack and Reese to finally meet each other. As you can see it was such a special moment. They are so cute together! You can tell already they will be best buds for life! Ha ha! Baby Reese is precious - so cute and healthy. We are so happy for John and Kelli and their new journey into parenthood. It is truly awesome!!! We look forward to sharing many memories together!
