July was again another busy month. We took Jack to the lake for the 4th of July with Kelli and Reese and the boys loved it! Jack's cousins Jalyn, Jolee and Jenna came in town for the 4th so we were able to spend some time with them. We also celebrated Jack's birthday and had a party for him. That will be posted later. We stayed busy with playdates, birthday parties and visits from family and friends! July definitely flew by!
Jack started to take steps and it ranged anywhere from 9 steps to 47! It was fun to count and cheer him on as he took steps then all of the sudden he started walking! It literally felt like it was overnight. Once he turned 1, he took off. He also was introduced to the "macarena" dance and became obsessed with it. We would hum the chorus and I would take his hands to do the motions. After awhile he just started to do his own version of it. He loved it so much that he would break into dance when Tait and my mom asked if he wanted more macaroni and cheese. We would say m-a-c-a-r-o-n-i Jack not m-a-c-a-r-e-n-a! Ahh...love him!
